In a Mozambican village Madamba locals are catching and selling rats on the side a road. A stick with 6-7 fried rats costs about 30 cents. Every rat-catcher can earn up to 3 dollars a day which are a lot money in this African country.
Rat-catching is the occupation catching rats as a form pest control.
While no longer a pression in developed countries, there are still rat-catchers in India and other developing countries.
