Personal life and family
He is married to Sofija Farkaš from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is his second wife. Gaddafi has eight biological children, seven of them sons. He has also adopted two children, Hanna and Milad.
• His eldest son, Muhammad al-Gaddafi, was born to a wife now in disfavour, but runs the Libyan Olympic Committee.
